Does it slow down my storefront?
No. Normalize ships as a single async, preloaded bundle (~36KB gzipped), and your cart configuration is inlined in Liquid — so there are no API round-trips before the drawer can render. The bag icon appears instantly, before JavaScript loads.
Can I customize the design without code?
